Western Hemisphere Shorebird Reserve Network
The Western Hemisphere Shorebird Reserve Network (WHSRN) is a conservation strategy launched in 1984. The Network aligns with the simple strategy that we must protect key habitats throughout the Americas in order to sustain healthy populations of shorebirds. During the last 20 years, over 21 million acres of shorebird habitat has been brought under the auspices of WHSRN. NABCI partners are active members of WHSRN.
